While in rooms, you can position yourself by clicking on the screen to the desire location. You can find doors too, and those leads to another room. Your mouse will indicate when there's doors. You can too press the door icon(on the left tool box) to make them display.
 

Most important features:

Bookmarks:
This is located on top of the program and while being in our palace site, press bookmarks then select "add palace to bookmark. You will have our palace saved permanently.

The Chat log:
This small window is important, as if you missed some of the ppl's chat, it is displayed there. The chat log does open by default when palace is opened, but if you close it, select options (on top of the program), then checked log window.

The room list:
You can view all rooms of a palace site by selecting options (on top of the program) then goto room. This will display a small window with all the rooms there is and you can beam into those listed rooms directly. There are numbers following the room name and they are the number of members that are located in these rooms.

The user list:
You can view all users that are on the site by selecting options and then find user. This will too pop up a small window with all the users that are in the site. You could then, talk to that user even if not in the same room, or simply beam to the user location.

The Icons tool:
This is the icon menu that does open along your palace program(at the left of the program). They are features you can use while being in palace.
For example, the speaker icon does play sounds that everyone can hear in a room. The door icon let you display all the passage there is in a room. Experiment all of them to get use to your palace program and have more fun with it. :-)

Avatars:
One of the fun part with the palace, is the feature to wear avatars.
Our palace now has Props/avatars rooms that you can reach from the main plaza. Go to the props/avatars index room and choose a proper room according to your gender and taste ;-)
At those rooms, press the Next button to scroll these avatars. When you find one that suits you, right click on your name, then select save/wear avatar. A new window will open, then you save your avatar on a free spot (the ones that shows a smilie avatar on your right. Just watch to not save over an avatar that you want to keep (if you see one on the right portion on that window).
Every time you beam to our palace site, you will have again to select save/wear avatar then choose the one you want to wear ;-)
