This
integrated amplifier is made quite simple but I like it's overall
sound. It driven by 4 2SD234 transistors on the output with an input
voltage of about 24Volts on each of them. Before I remake it's main
board, it sounded very bad. Lot's of distortion in the sound caused by
old capacitors but too, out of tolerance resistors and bad bias
adjustment. It was a totally different amplifier after the work. Below
main board, it's identified as "Sound NS-119E". If "Sound" is the brand
maker of the board, Sony could be related with this design. Main
outputs are from Toshiba though.
My rough estimated would be around 10 watts per channel. It
have generous bass/treble controls. 2 unusual
features with this one are the 2 alternate phono PU selector options
(MM and Xtal) and the integrated microphone mixing.
